Auckland Trip Part I

Alrighty! I seriously have an urge to blog nownownow. Back from Auckland last evening, and Auckland is fantastic! So much warmer than Dunedin, busy busy busy, buzzling with flashy cars and towered by so many buildings. This is so different from plain ol' Dunedin. Okay, let the pictures speak!
On the day we arrived at Auckland, it was raining!! Horrible weather! But after the first day, the weather was all gooood.rainy Auckland . Ben the 'street directory' . Auckland city . traffic jam! . under the all famous Harbour Bridge . Harbour Bridge . Auckland - City of Sails . pretty view . stuck in the traffic .
We visited the University of Auckland the next day. The campus ain't bigger than University of Otago.. Hohoho. Now I'm proud of my uni. LOL! But despite that, the school's still nice.. Didn't wander around too much as we had more to do that day.
Auckland University General Library . Directory . Student Common Place . The University Of Auckland
Went to this Asian food court along Queen Street (something like Orchard Road in Singapore) and had the most disgusting cassarole (claypot rice) ever in my life!! Didn't show it here tho. Haha. But the bubble tea is yummy! My taro bubble tea was purple in colour! Hahaha.

My taro 珍珠奶茶 !

Walked around Victoria Park Market too!
We then drove to a place called Bees Online. We thought we could see a bee farm or something, but it was just a small cafe with see bees trapped in see through containers.

honey from the bees . pipes of bees!! . huge range of yummy honey . 'can you see the queen. she is wearing a red dot' .
Damn it lah, I couldn't find the queen bee! -pouts-
Then we continued driving and saw a vineyard. So we drove in!

filming in progress . acres of vineyard . huge ass chess set . natural beauty .
Apparently this vineyard is famous for its super yummy wine. However Ben's parents thought the wine must be really expensive, so we didn't get any.. Aww..

Maria(Ben) with Madam's(Me) bag
Tsktsk, Maria of the day! Why I call him Maria is because typical household maids are named Maria in local Singapore sitcoms. LOL!
On the same day, there was a Santa Parade along Queen Street of Auckland! So we went there to have a look!

balloons for the Santa Parade!!

dong dong qianggg!!

fatso Santa with tiny camera man.

magnificant view of Auckland city!

super enthusiastic All Stars cheerleaders

B2 from Bananas In Pyjamas getting all the attention . Rarr.. Pirates! . Monster Mash.. WoOooOoo . Bob the builder, YES WE CAN!
