BACK FROM INVERS!!!

HI ALL! I'm back from Invercargill for the weekend! :D Yup, I'm doing half of my psych run there for 4 weeks.

VY offered to drive SS and myself and we headed there on Wednesday evening. Invercargill greeted the 3 of us (myself and 2 other colleagues doing Psych at the same time) with a crying grey sky. How depressing. The weather kinda stayed the same until this morning! The sky was pastel blue, though cloudy, but no rain! Hurrah! (:

BUT. Bad weather got blown up to Dunedin. So now Dunners has grey sky too. And fog. Great. One of my colleagues say bad things always come from Invercargill. Or do they not?

Now I've got 3 weeks left there, since our clinical attachment started only on Wednesday. So far, so good. The doctor's residence is uber warm, a computer lab w internet access, the bed's comfy (though a tad smaller than my own!), and it's close to the hospital. BAD thing is: the walls are so thin it's as though they're not there at all!! I can hear every snort/fart/cough/shuffling/turning of pages (GEEKS in the house!!!) lol. It's a good thing my neighbour don't understand mandarin, otherwise he'll be getting goosebumps all over his body when he hears me talking to James LOL. kidding lah. jess got so 肉麻 meh?!

HOSPITAL.

The hospital itself is small, but very modern and new! I really like it! And I heard the muffins at the cafe is AWESOME!!!! Must try that one day! (erm, rural practice, jess? ... nah.)

Though I must say that without a car, there really isn't much I can do around here.. Okay okay, it's just me being lazy!!! I should stop being lazy and start walking to the hospital for free shuttle to town! There are famous bush walks and horse riding and all things to do in Invers as well. Next weekend, maybe. Might not come back to good ol' Dunedin.

ANYWAY! I was there for 2 days and got right outta there to head back to Dunedin hahahaha! Just cos' mum and jon are still here in dunedin, and.. the bf is here too ^^. It's crazy how lonely you can get in Invers, despite your colleagues right next door and on the bottom level. For the past 2 nights, all I did at night was had dinner, shower, use the internet, lie on the bed, and wait for the bf to call! Not studying? Yeah, jess is sick, and gets really really tired after 5pm.. So, she just rests and talks to the bf on the phone lol!

So glad to be back. Reallllllllllllly. :) DIM SUM WITH THE FAMILY AND JAMES AND LYDS TMR CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

CATS the musical!

CATS the musical WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

Even though I haven't read any of T.S Elliot's poems before (especially those from the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats), ANDDDDDDDD.. the fact that I've got cat-phobia (i really really do!!), the impulsive act of getting tickets for the 4 of us was absolutely worth it!

We watched this all famous musical by the Dunedin Operatics Inc., and I must say they really did a good job. I was impressed. (:

The music, the dance moves, the acting, the costumes............. AND the singing! :D

I loved every single aspect of the musical!

I love musicals! Now Janice and I have the passion to perform in such musicals!! I want I want I want! Hahaha. :D If I have the opportunity and the time, I definitely would go for auditions. LOLLLL. I guess this will always be a dream....

.. isn't as bad as what i thought it would be! hurrah!! (: although everyone's back in school, meits is back in town (!!!), and we're still busy preparing for our upcoming LOST musical! so, busybusybusy.

Meits and I also went to visit Queenie at her place cos' she recently got a 6month old Labrador/Golden Retriever (HAHA she says it's a L but we thought it looked like a GR! how!!) This dog is AMAZINGLY HYPERACTIVE and doesn't stop jumping up and down!!! must be due to new environment and new faces and new to the world! BOORI's her name! KOREAN DOG WOH~ Ahneong Boori! :D
