where the days were always fine
why can't we turn the clock back
to the times when we had to carry huge bag packs?

when we needed to queue in a line
let the teachers check the roll
while we hung our heads down low

we had no worries, or any troubles with sine
days were so carefree
all filled with joy and glee


i want to go back in time
ever willing to give more than a dime
willing to go so much greater than a mile
so this life of mine would be more worth while

won't it be scary listening to the last clock chime?
the chime of death, the chime of no turning back
all your mistakes done, leaving behind the mum's famous nag
