So I'm PERMANENTLY back in Dunners for the rest of the year (before flying back to the singa-land)!! Hurrah!


3 weeks of Psych in Invers was actually not that bad, apart from having to sit my ass through hours of driving to and fro during the weekends. My bum has officially gotten used to getting stuck on the chair!

while watching drama on my computer. james' huge as headphones! 我就喜欢！ LOL.

I actually typed out 5 paragraphs (very very furiously!) on my bad experience back there with a certain doc , but I've decided to scrape that. It's wrong to speak ill of someone, despite my bad experience with him. Apparently every student who did their evaluation with him had the same kinda mistreatment, so I guess it isn't just me. I'm just really glad that it's over and I'M FINALLY BACK! :D

Started my 2nd half of my Psych run at another clinic, and I'm SO BOREDDDDDDDDD. Everyday I get there all fresh and bright and energetic, but things just go so.. ssslllooowwwllyyy there I just get so drained! >< style="font-weight: bold;">Presentation tomorrow! Hope it goes well for me. (: And our practice OSCE exam on Saturday.. damn. Not even thinking of studying for it, but I'll turn out to be the stupidest and laziest student of all!! Howhowhowhowhow. Aiyah, procrastinate and study on Friday! Lalala. 3 more weeks to 3 months of HOLIDAYS!!!!!! Woopie!

I'm so slack. But I like. :D

BACK FROM INVERS!!!

HI ALL! I'm back from Invercargill for the weekend! :D Yup, I'm doing half of my psych run there for 4 weeks.

VY offered to drive SS and myself and we headed there on Wednesday evening. Invercargill greeted the 3 of us (myself and 2 other colleagues doing Psych at the same time) with a crying grey sky. How depressing. The weather kinda stayed the same until this morning! The sky was pastel blue, though cloudy, but no rain! Hurrah! (:

BUT. Bad weather got blown up to Dunedin. So now Dunners has grey sky too. And fog. Great. One of my colleagues say bad things always come from Invercargill. Or do they not?

Now I've got 3 weeks left there, since our clinical attachment started only on Wednesday. So far, so good. The doctor's residence is uber warm, a computer lab w internet access, the bed's comfy (though a tad smaller than my own!), and it's close to the hospital. BAD thing is: the walls are so thin it's as though they're not there at all!! I can hear every snort/fart/cough/shuffling/turning of pages (GEEKS in the house!!!) lol. It's a good thing my neighbour don't understand mandarin, otherwise he'll be getting goosebumps all over his body when he hears me talking to James LOL. kidding lah. jess got so 肉麻 meh?!

HOSPITAL.

The hospital itself is small, but very modern and new! I really like it! And I heard the muffins at the cafe is AWESOME!!!! Must try that one day! (erm, rural practice, jess? ... nah.)

Though I must say that without a car, there really isn't much I can do around here.. Okay okay, it's just me being lazy!!! I should stop being lazy and start walking to the hospital for free shuttle to town! There are famous bush walks and horse riding and all things to do in Invers as well. Next weekend, maybe. Might not come back to good ol' Dunedin.

ANYWAY! I was there for 2 days and got right outta there to head back to Dunedin hahahaha! Just cos' mum and jon are still here in dunedin, and.. the bf is here too ^^. It's crazy how lonely you can get in Invers, despite your colleagues right next door and on the bottom level. For the past 2 nights, all I did at night was had dinner, shower, use the internet, lie on the bed, and wait for the bf to call! Not studying? Yeah, jess is sick, and gets really really tired after 5pm.. So, she just rests and talks to the bf on the phone lol!

So glad to be back. Reallllllllllllly. :) DIM SUM WITH THE FAMILY AND JAMES AND LYDS TMR CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I had intentions of staying at the hospital a wee bit longer for more drawing of blood from patients (need more practice.. saw my colleague this morning going around the ward with the trolley and saw her draw blood from a patient. SHE WAS DAMN PRO. oh man!! i'm sucha noob.), but I developed this sort of tension headache minutes before my very informal presentation to my consultant, and I was definitely gonna inflict harm on my patients, so I skipped.

Man, waking up at 730am after a 15hour shift he day before is not funny. I even had to miss my baking session with Lyds, Jen and Rach this afternoon....... ZZZ. After lunch at Subway (haven't had that for AGES! Miss it so much..), got a Mocha Latte and went home to... Chill. It was awesome. Just enjoying my coffee and not thinking of anything to do with the hospital is really very relaxing. I haven't been so tired before, and neither have I enjoyed Saturday as much as I am now. Thank God for weekends. Seriously.

James is complaining that I'm not talking about him again. James is very happy because he finished his assignment so he can enjoy his weekend, with me. HAHA. We haven't been spending much time together cos' of out busy schedules, mostly because of my on calls. So this is a good time. (:

Gonna enjoy a movie with him now. Tata.

I'm meant to post this up AGESSSSSSS ago, but it always slipped my mind! Anyway, presenting to you, James' very own Harbour Bridge of Auckland!!!!!! (See, he loves Auckland so much.. Unlike Dunedin. LOL)

I heard that his other friend (who is also from Auckland) made the Sky Tower of Auckland! LOL, so they have a miniature Auckland right by their side.. Awwwww, how sweet.. I think his Harbour Bridge is about the size of my palm!

Yay! everytime I'm on it, I know I'm either going to town for shopping, or going back to James' place for YUMMY dinnerrr. I miss Auckland!!

So ya, that's what they do at SCHOOL! Hehe, nah, he makes other stuff too, like the necklace he made for me last year ROFLLLLLLLLL. Kidding. He's in Dental Technology, and he needs to practice using the materials, so making stuff like this is good for him! Haha!

He left his miniature Harbour Bridge in the lab cos' according to him, it's the safest place already. Hahaha. Besides, it looks better with the Sky Tower next to it! (:

To me, Valentine's Day is Friendship Day too! Like the other years before, my friends and I exchanged chocolates and wrote sweet things to one another in heart shaped papers.. Pretty nice feeling. I got my friends Hershey's Kisses this year! Yum.

My valentine... You guys would know who. Hahaha.

THE moody queen strikes again.

I know it's ultra wrong to blame that time of the month for my moodiness, but heck! I don't get why I get moody and frustrated and irritated for NO FREAKING REASON during this period of time.

The poor boyfriend had to put up 15min of torture from insane me disallowing him to turn up at his net cafe appointment with his buddies. He actually did very well listening to me whine and saying weird stuff to him. He was very brave to actually laugh at me when I was about to cry. Oh, and he was smiling all the way through. Can you believe that?! But somehow or rather, I became happier and laughed back at him. Did he score, or was I back on top of this crazy roller coaster ride?

I think 15min was already considered veryyy good. I think I had episodes that lasted a few hours. Poor James.

I don't know, man. I just think it's hard to be around me when I'm period-ing. Can't stand it myself. I think back on what I was doing, and it's insanely funny and stupid at the same time. Gosh.

This is such a PMS-ish post. Eew.

15) Saw the return of our country's sportsmen from the very recent SEA games held in Thailand. Coincidentally at the airport. ==


16) Got my first ever Christmas tree (which is taller than me) at home! Woopie! I was a happy girl.


17) Got to visit the institution that my brother will be in for the next 4 years - Singapore Sports School. All I can say to those in SSS is - better make use of the country's money wisely. Hurhur.


18) Skated at Fuji Ice Stadium for the 2nd time! I wonder if the ice stadium at the all-new Leisure Park is open again... Hmm.. After 2 skate-free years, I think my performance that day wasn't too bad! Teeheehee.


19) Attended Thazin's very very special 21st birthday party with the theme - Nerds Evo. As much as I don't want to post this pic up, I actually put in lotsa effort into my costume that day. I'm such a nerd it's freaky.


20) Visited our local tourist attraction, Sentosa, with the family and my sister's... ex (ahem.) when he came around for a week. I had fun carrying an extremely fat python and got to watch the very pretty musical fountain (didn't quite like the storyline though. more for kids in my point of view)!


21) Slacked at nEbo game cafe @ AMK Hub with half of Eifer, supposedly to do 2 persons' birthday collage/card but ended up just playing and having fun.. HAHA. I think we kinda had this same situation like 28947 times within a month. Ask the Chungie and the Mel, they'd know. ROFL.

Oh, just had a great laugh over what they named their ice cream combos, I think they just mean single or double scoops.. HAHA. And I HAVE to add the last photo with Chungie 自恋-ing because I reckon that's the most 自恋 photo I've seen from her yet! DON'T KILL ME, CHUNGIE!!! I know you love me. /innocent smile. Anyway! nEbo - great games, not-too-bad food, just their chocolate waffles that Jon tried.. TOO SWEET! Haha!


22) Celebrated Christmas at my place with Eifer enjoying good food, Wii-ing (that just sounds wrong!), laughing and just having a good time. MAN I MISS EIFER ):


23) Got James and myself Fossil watches. Pretty/handsome right... I know. ;)



24) Visited Changi Airport's Terminal 3 (where I departed from exactly 2 weeks ago!) to film a very very short birthday clip for Hui Ling. I'm sorry Jen for the quite unglam picture of yours, but this was the only photo with the word 'DEPARTURE' there!!



More Food Galore:


8) The all-famous ice cream parlour aka family restaurant - Swensen's. Had its Caesar salad which was not too bad, and some Gold Rush to satisfy my sweet tooth :B


9) Char Kway Teow. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Although I must say that it doesn't appeal to me as much as it did a few years back. Looks like my taste buds have 'upgraded'. Nah, shouldn't say that.. Cos CKT is our local delicacy!


10) Never miss freshly made sugarcane juice each time I come back home, despite the many nasty stories I've heard. (hint: something about cats walking past the sugarcane at night and tinkling... okay period.)


11) My another all time favourite - Rojak!!! Crispy 油条，crunchy veges and peanut, chewy tau pok... MMMMmmmmmmm. :9


12) After filming that not-so-long birthday clip for Hui Ling, we had to satisfy our tummy at Sakae Sushi. I don't think it's overrated, I'm just wondering how on earth did it manage to open so many branches in such a small country!




13) Instead of saying we're were pangseh-ed by Shuo, we shall just say that Shuo missed out our yumyum lunch at 鼎泰丰. Actually, I prefer its traditional Chinese characters. The name just looks all wrong in Simplified. 小笼包 and its 小菜 and Drunken Chicken a must-order for us.

Actually had 鼎泰丰 twice this time I'm back. The other time was with the 301 classmates! (: (Sorry guys, we all look distorted in the very irritating-ly pixelated Facebook picture! And omg I look pregnant in that photo!!!!)


14) After yumyum lunch at 鼎泰丰, Joan and I pampered ourselves at Azabu Sabo for some Japanese dessert. And some cam whoring. ROFL. Good times, good times. Green tea ice cream never tasted this way for such a longgg time. Been a green tea fan for sooo long. Green tea Frap at Starbucks, green tea wafer biscuits, green tea ice cream, looking for recipes of green tea swiss roll, muffin and every other pastry. My love for green tea will never cease... Am I scaring you cos' I see you shivering.


15) Met up with my wonderful primary school friends for lunch at Thai Express! I'm so ashamed to announce that it was my first time dining at Thai Express! Had the famous Phad Thai noodles and it's actually very yummy! We are JAAC = Jess, Abby, Aud (whichever order you want!) and Chuns. Friends for 14 years! I have to look for old primary school photos man.. But they're all back in SG... ):



Man, I think my summer was just so full of events I'm tired after this post already and it ain't over yet!!! Watch out for this space once again. (X
