Rain, rain, go away, come again another day...

The monsoon season is making me go bonkers.

Rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain.

Almost non stop for 5 days!!

Acoording to The Straits Times, today WILL be the last day of the continuous raining in Singapore.

Are they accurate? I hope they don't cheat my feelings.. Because I still want to go tanning and shopping loh.. The rain has definitely hindered me from doing the things I want to do.. -.-

Staying at home is BORING, especially if you have an irritating 10 years old brudda annoying you the whole time. If you really have one, CONGRATULATIONS! You've stepped into my world. Hur hur.

Wah lau, if it's raining men, then it's okay lah.. But it's just raining rain. Booo.

I heard from Janice that it's very warm in Dunedin todayyy!!!! Boo hoo!!! And Mummy and her are gonna have steamboat for dinner today!!!

救命啊!!!!! (save me!!!!!)

Mummy, I shall always follow you no matter where you go, because with you around, we get TREATED real good. Don't have to worry about accomodation, food, school, whatever! I miss my mummy now... I want steamboat too Mummy!!!

LOL. I sound like a small girl. But who cares? I still wanna be my mummy's little girl.. Along with even littler Janice and littlest Jonathan.

):

That makes me not all that little anymore.. I'm gonna hit the '2' digit this year!! I'm gonna be 20.. So oldddd. How do you feel when you touch 20? To me, it feels like I have the responsibility to be more matured, smarter, more independent, more sensible.

Hmm.

That sounds difficult.

LOL. OH WELL. NOW I JUST WISH THE RAIN WILL GO AWAY, so I can get my Starbucks Frappucchino Rhumba with whipped cream....

):

MY DAY.

Today, I spent my entire afternoon at NUS! Damn! It's hugeee I tell ya. Faculty after faculty, buildings after buildings. I wonder how big NUS actually is!! Seriously 大开眼界 (direct translation:greatly open eyes world.) man.. I don't mind studying there.. Haha.

Thazin and I wore the same style today! That copycat! LOL! Today both of us were wearing blue tops (she had a polo tee while i had a normal tee), light coloured mini skirts, belts of similar colour, slippers, and big bags!!!! The difference between the 2 of us? One is tall and dark, the other short and fair. End of story.

Firstly, we met Mel @ the Art fac before going to Engine fac for lunch! Woo wee! Sooo many people in the canteen! Had Char Siew Rice, which was not too bad, and SUPER cheap!! Only $2, which includes char siew rice, soup and veg! WAHHH! Even cheaper than Rong Chye, Ben! Yum yum yum, and I had watermelon juice to go along with my lunch. It started to rain cats and dogs while we were still having our lunch. LUCKILY I brought my umbrella, or else the 3 of us (myself, Mel and Thazin) are going to be 落汤鸡 (direct translation: drop soup chicken. meaning very drenched). 3 of us squashed together like a tin of sardines, walking under a small pink Hello Kitty umbrella, around NUS. LOL. Mel had to look for her friend, so she left us! Thazin kept laughing at me cos my slippers kept coming off due to the lack of friction between the soles of my feet and the slippers!! Damn!! So embarrassing! And I kept screaming because of that.. Muahaha.

NUS is filled with loads of people!! I don't know how many people there are man!! There are lecturers, professors, staff members, canteen uncles and aunties, cleaners, deans, and of course, students. Thousands and thousands I think.. All in one huge campus! Whew.

One reason why I went to NUS today is because our dear Loctor (yes I purposely spelt Doctor as Loctor) Min is withdrawing from NUS!!! So we went to the Student Service Centre, and saw a notice indicating that they've shifted to Yusof Ishak Centre or something, so we had to take another bus there.. Imagine walking in the rain so many times a day.. Taking so many buses to go from one place to another... I HATE RAINY DAYS!! (except when I'm at home with a cup of warm Milo and biscuits.. Muahaha) Halfway we met Jac my hiao cousin!! LOL! She's gonna kill me for that.

We explored the Med library after having some drinks at Coffee Grounds (no, we didn't have coffee if you wanna know.). Then we pretended as if we had to look for this book our professor wanted us to find.. Oh gosh, we were so retarded..! Haha! But it was fun, in a way. Anyway, the Med library is so nice!! I don't mind staying there till wee hours to study.. HAHA. What a nerd. Then we went back to Arts fac to look for our dear Meiyi! This poor girl's so busy with her Arts committee and said she was gonna stay till 2am for her meeting.

WHAT?! 2am?! That's absolute madness.. But I'm sure this committee is committed to bring fun to the Arts fac! So lucky you people.. Haha. Then we headed for the Law library!! According to Lr. Min, she sees loads of cute guys there. LOL! So we went there to check some out. UNFORTUNATELY, we didn't see any today.. WHAHAHA. So unlucky. The Biz fac is also very big! I messaged Shuo whether she was in school, and that lucky woman has got a 2 day week!!! Haha, so I didn't meet anyone I know there. Oh well.

I left to meet Ben for dinner, while Lr. Min went for climbing with her sis. Wah, whole day boading and alighting buses. NUS is sooooooo big.

So I was supposed to meet Ben at Outram Park MRT Station. Suddenly I had the urgency to use the toilet at Outram Park MRT Station, so got directions from an MRT staff member. He told me that the nearest toilet is at Pearl Centre. So I walked and walked, finally saw a toilet sign! So I rushed towards it, and guess what? I had to pay 20 freaking cents for entry!!!

@)#(*)@(*#

Nevermind, probably market price for toilet usage increased by 10c, so I hurriedly paid 20c then headed for the cubicle.

(!)*#)&%@)(#*)(!)@(*!)(@*)$!(!@

I paid 20 freeeeeeeaking cents for DIRTY TOILET, SMELLY TOILET, WITH NO TOILET PAPER!!!!!

I think Pearl Centre is earning loads.. From their toilet service. No toilet in Outram Park MRT Station, so the toilets in Pearl Centre have to charge us. 20c. Per entry. For dirty, smelly toilets with no toilet paper.

GOSH.

Oh well. Bad experience. ANYWAY, for your info, I DID have tissue paper of my own. Some people -ahem ahem- think I don't WIPE MY ASS after I use the toilet. Gees.

Met Ben for chicken rice for dinner! We ate at The Big Bird, located at ground level of Balmoral Plaza. Wah, the chilli sauce is... SO SPICY!! But still nice lah.. Haha. Then we walked from Balmoral Plaza allllllll the way to Adam Road. You ask what for walk the whole way when there are buses? I tell you. FOR FUN lah! So we chatted and chatted and chatted all the way to Adam Road, and of course we had fun. Whaha. Then we finally stopped at the bus stop outside Singapore Bible College, and I boarded bus service 852 home, while he ran home cos' nature called. LOL.

That's it for the day!

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg, I'm so sorry for the vulgarities, BUT!!!!! I got spyware in my com!!!!!!!! It sent Ben a Friendster message which was so OBSCENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It goes like

Even when we saw the parade, I was like waving to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Stitch and everyone else like a 3 year old kid!! Hahaha. It's uber fun man.. I should go to the one in LA!! Farewell to Janice.. Off you go to moomooland!

Today's the day Janice will be moving on with her studies, with her life.

Gosh.

I totally understand how she is feeling now. Why? Because almost exactly 2 years ago, I was experiencing the same situation.

Seriously, I'm really happy she is able to accompany me in NZ. Finally, a family member with me in a foreign land.

I really want to thank my mother, for working so hard to bring both of us overseas to further our studies. She has been ever supportive in whatever I wish to pursue. Noone can ever replace her.

As for Janice, I really hope she'll study well, and score fairly good marks, and show everyone that she can actually study HARD! Haha! I also hope I can help her as much as I can, whilst studying too. We can also support each other like how we always do.

Bon Voyage Jan! Will see you back there! In the mean time, get to know more of Dunedin before I return on 10th Feb to meet you ok?! Gambate!

(:

I'm still grinning from ear to ear. (:(:(:

rollercoaster ride of the day!

Today has been a rough day. But at the end of it all, it is all solved. (:(:(:

This morning, I woke up, watched my drama (恶作剧之吻) and anime (Naruto!), then went to the gym to run abit. Was proud of myself, because I managed to run 5km non stop today! All thanks to Ning's tip. You're the best, Ning! Muah!! Haha!

My sister didn't come home last night. The whole family was all panicky and worried what she could be doing alone outside. We tried calling her loads of times, sms her, but no reply. Finally she got back at about 2pm. I scolded her for being so irresponsible. Sigh.

It's not as if I want to be so naggy. It's just that I've said it time and time again, and no difference in her attitude. She understands, I know, but she just doesn't act it out right. She was the one who made me cry today. ): I also had a misunderstanding with Ben, who was supposed to have dinner with me. I felt totally bad, and cried even harder.

I decided to skip Janice's (my sis) BBQ farewell party tonight, and went to look for my 2 sweeties Chungie and Qi at their NTU hostel. So we talked and drank and had some pizza. Spent about 6 hours there. It was really great having girl talks over pizza and beer. Actually felt like Homer Simpson! Haha! Chungie also had her most horrible time with the Pizza Hut telephone opereator. OH MAN, she didn't know if NTU was a school or a building, and she asked for the address for 10 freaking times! Plus, she got our order wrong. Oh, and she doesn't know how to spell UNIVERSITY. She spelt it as UNIVERFITY. -.-

Mum picked me up from YCK MRT station. The best mum in the world. I went to open the letter box, and found a letter from the university. I was quite disappointed, cos' I only saw 1 letter. Mummy opened the letter for me. There were 3 pages of words words and words. I couldn't catch what was on the letter itself, but as I glanced to the 3rd sentence of the 1st page, I leaped! SHIT! I got offers into all 3 courses I applied for!!!!!!

YAYYYYY!!!!

It has always been my dream to be a doctor (or 'loctor' for Chungie). I really want to make my dream come true. I really do. (: I don't think I can sleep tonight. Haha.

Just went down to look for Janice. Met some of her friends. Real nice peeps, really. Haha. And of course, she was so darn happy for my posting results, her friends and herself congratulated me with a toast. Thank you guys, if you guys ever read this. Haha. Janice also said sorry for her wrong behaviour. From her point of view, I can understand why she didn't want to answer our calls etc. BUT still, I totally think that she should handle this matter more seriously, and of course take responsibility for her actions.

Oh well! This day has indeed ended well. All these are happening while Ben is still in his dreamland... Rest well, Ben. Will see you real soon!

It's all about my frustration.

Well, it looks like I haven't had a proper blog post sinces ages ago aye? I'll just post one today then!

Sigh sigh sigh.

Guess why am I so frustrated...

Relationships?

No.

Money?

Ya, probably a little bit.

Actually, PDAs are bothering me...

):

You see, I went to Sim Lim with Ben's family that weekend, and I got to see so many PDA and pocket PCs! Oh gosh, they're so beautiful, and so.. USEFUL. Most of them have got features like CAMERA (2.0 megapixels! and take take video), PHONE & being PC-LIKE (just much smaller). So! You can take pictures (of yourself and someone whom you think is cute), take videos, keep a page full of reminders, listen to music, play games, surf the net (wifi enabled) etc etc all in this teeny weeny gadget.

GOSH.

The more I talk about it, the more I want it!!!

I asked Stephie the Pro (haha!) about the PDAs in the market now. She thinks that Dopod 818 Pro is better than O2. Well, I don't know much about that, but Dopod looks more like a toy, while O2 looks class-ier.

Dopod 818 Quad Band (left) and O2 XDA IIs (right)

So? O2 still looks better right?

I guess we ladies still look more of the appearance of these gadgets. As one of the salesmen said, we gotta look at the INNER self, not the OUTER appearance (as if these gadgets are like people!). Haha! Well, he's right, but... O2 still looks much better you see? If my mum were to buy one, an O2 is definitely for her. Other than being lagg-ier than Dopod, the rest of the features are identical. Oh, and of course, O2 is a tad more expensive.

Hai! I compare so much.. For what? My mum wouldn't get me one! Cos she thinks that:
  1. I got a handphone, iPod, digital camera and laptop already,
  2. It's freeeeking expensive,
  3. She wants one too!!!

): I cannot have something as expensvie as her.. Haha! So nice so nice.. These PDAs, but... -stabs in the heart- too expensive. UNLESS! Someone buys it for me, which is highly improbable. Ahem ahem -clears throat- Haha! (hinting abit but no use, hoh?)

I want my PDA too...

-pout pout-

The geisha is as old as me, yet she's working already. According to the tour guide, the younger geishas have to attend a private school within the geisha organisation itself. cool eh?

The bullet train is sooo fast we tried to take a photo of another bullet train passing by and failed to do so. HAHAHA. We attempted like 4 times, all failed!

Eifer, Joan & Shuo, Japan Trip Day 1

Eifer Meet up (13/12/2005)

I met up with 6/7 (including me) of Eifer on 13th Dec! This meet up was really funny. Chungie and Mel thought we would be celebrating Stephie and Thazin's birthdays that day, while Meiyi, Stephie (birthday girl), Thazin (another birthday girl) and I all thought that it was just a normal meet up! This meet up was originally suggested by Stephie and I, as I just came back from Melbourne.

In the end, while dining, Mel, Meiyi, Chungie and I were trying to communicate in Canto about what on earth was going on and what we were going to do, since Stephie and Thazin did not understand the language. Me, being the ultimate loser in Canto, had the most difficult time trying to express myself properly, while mixing Canto, Hokkien, Chinese and English all in 1 sentence. Yah, it is a skill, people. But in the end Stephie was like, "EHHH, I know what you guys are talking about lah!" Damn. LOL! So after our dinner at some ramen shop Chungie introduced to us (Chungie please remind me about the name of the ramen we had. it was really funny!), we went to Swensen's for some ice cream!

My apologies to Stephie and Thazin. TERRIBLY SORRY GIRLS! I know we haven't given you the perfect birthday outing... All because I'm as blur as a sotong. ): Oh well, we did enjoy ourselves didn't we?! Haha!

Stephie!! Please send me the photos in your camera k? Thanks a million, babes!

/ stephie with the ring / me with the ring / the hubby and 2nd mistress / us again / meiyi and i!! / mel stephie chungie and acbc me / mini earthquake! / birthday ice cream! / candid shot of dr. min /

Haha, about the ring. It belongs to Chungie! But it was so nice that I decided to be Chungie's 2nd mistress, after Stephie the wife and mel the 1st mistress! HAHA.

Joan & Shuo! (14/12/2005)

Finally met up with these 2 babes. Gosh, it's been a longgg time. We should do this often!

We had lunch at this particular cafe and it sucked. Shan't say the shop name, but it's in Cineleisure. -pukes- Joan's meal was horrible. I almost died drinking the soup too.

We watched The Descent and Shuo and I were screaming on top of our lungs! On the other hand, Joan was sitting calmly, absorbing everything she was watching. GOSH, that freak. The show is sooo freaking scary! I mean, it is a thriller, but those gross creatures were absolutely horrid!!!! 8 Days gave 4 stars out of 5 for this movie. GAWD, that's madness. After the show, I went home with Shuo, while Joan went to meet her friend, Titus.

Eh, you 2, we better have a meal @ Balcony soon ok?! I'm so gonna enjoy eating there lah! Haha!

/ me with joan tay / im taller than joan! / shuo ca joan / stupid shuo's finger / shuo and i / us at taka / we the robbers / awww i luv joan's hat! / i look like a mad cow /

JAPAN TRIP!!!

Honestly, I think Japan is MAGNIFICANT. If I am able to learn their language, I will want to stay there. The place is so cool, and even if you act cute there, no one cares, cos they all do too! Haha! What a great place for me! LOL.

Japan is so clean, even though there are few bins around. Japanese people are so friendly and polite. Their service is A grade, and it was definitely a pleasure to meet Japanese people.

Japan is really cold in winter. Being the lousy me (hahaha, go ahead and laugh, ben), I was wearing 4 layers of clothes plus a heat pack. And Jac my cousin was wearing 5 layers of clothes plus heat pack! Haha! We all had to constantly put moisturizer cos' our skin were getting dry then.

Jac left a comment on my blog saying she misses Japan. Oh please, count me in! I wanna go back there again!!!

Day 1 (16/12/2005)

In the morning, we visit the majestic Osaka Castle (admission to Castle’s Museum excluded). Visit Kobe Chinatown, locally known as “Nankin-machi” and Harbourland. Its Mosaic town with a big Ferris wheel and carousel, Mosaic Garden and restaurants, boutiques and movie theatres form an almost mosaic-like effect in this commercial park complex. In the evening, you are free to explore the shopping and eating paradise “Shinsaibashi” - famous for its neon lights and Dotombori. You can also roam the streets of Umeda and marvel at the spectacular city lights.** Selected departures to Universal Studios.

/ jan and i with a giant icecream / osaka castle / a monk / Nan-kin machi / jon acting cute with me / universal studios! / us with betty boop! / spiderman / cookie monster / elmooo / mum jan me and jon / woof! / jan with a penguin on her head / snowman! / all cutesy and stuff / princess, we are /

Eh, on the last picture of the collage, I think I look most like a princess! Don't you think so?!

Okay, I'm gonna watch some TV now. Will update more tmr, I hope! (:

Merry Christmas my dear friends!

It's the time of the year again!
It's a shame Singapore doesn't have 4 seasons... Don't you think celebrating Christmas would be much better with snowww?
Imagine the outside.. Cold yet beautiful and pure white, and inside the houses - warm and comfy, while you enjoy the company of your family at the fireplace..
AWWWW. I hope to celebrate Xmas like that some time soon! Those fake snow along Orchard Road is not good enough. This place is still too warm.
Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Hope all of you enjoy this wonderful day - the day when Jesus was born. Hurrah!
