well, a second ago, i was screaming at jonathan (my idiotic brother) who simple REFUSES to sleep early. it went something like, 'let's see whether you can even grow taller than me!'
so pissed with him. its already 1136pm and he is still not in bed.
i mean, he's merely a 9 year old, but he doesn't sleep at 9 plus or 10 at night.. he sleeps at 1 or 2am ok..
according to a reliable source (newspaper i think.), most of our growth hormones are released at night when we are asleep. so JONATHAN CHEUNG can forget about growing tall. next time when he's 'ka-teh' (short) he'll then regret it.. don't listen to jessica what. argh. enough of that brat.
i'm kinda worried right now, cos i was told by ben that he received an enlistment order from the ministry of defense, asking him to report at the enlistment centre on the 28th of febuary.. but he has DEFERRED already !
if he doesn't appeal successfully, he won't be able to go back to new zealand with me.. noooooooooooooooooooooo. please don't let that happen.
he's so sad now, and i don't know what i can do. this is bad. his eyes are swollen, his finger has some weird goose pimple-like bubbles, and now this.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO. i wanna make him feel better.. sigh.
this afternoon i bought a packet of chicken rice from rong chye and his favourite green apple ice blended tea from some cyber cafe @ coronation plaza for him, and some dim sum for his mum..
was glad that he finished up the chicken rice and the drink.. seeing him smile makes my day. (:
watched Stepmom with him.. starring Julia Roberts. an okay show, but a little too draggy i think. its a 2 hour show about julia roberts trying to become a better stepmom of 2 kids whose mum was gonna die of cancer. bleah.
then dinner was prepared by his mum. simple dishes with rice, and kiwi fruits for dessert. mum picked me up from his home and went back home after sending my aunt back to hers.
haven't been updating my blog recently because ben and i are working @ my mum's office. and guess what? i scan clinical documents the whole day. just scanning, and scanNING, and SCANNING.
i think i'm gonna go blind looking at the computer screen for 8-10 hours a day. not good. and the WORST thing is: i don't know how i am paid for this job!! this is absolutely ridiculous.
most of my friends have gotten their jobs as well, so i guess the friend gatherings will slow down quite a bit from now on.. oh well.
OH! yesterday was mum's birthday ! uncle lee (one of mum's colleagues) treated all of us to dimsum @ Tong Lok Sharks' Fin Restaurant. the food was great, the service was great.
haha, but the funny thing was.. when we stepped outta the restaurant, uncle lee noticed a poster outside the restaurant, saying a $20 voucher will be given for every $100 spent, but he didn't receive any! so he went up to one of the staff and say in a funny english accent, 'wei shen me wo wei you?' haha! it was so cute.. and he received 2 vouchers! that meant our lunch was more than 200bucks. PHEW.
janice and i had planned for a steam boat dinner surprise for mummy, and so, with the help of leon (janice's bf), the steam boat session was successful! and janice managed to buy a cake for mum as well. hehe. so happy.
ben was there to celebrate with us as well. we should have more steam boat sessions man! mum suggests i get a steamboat back to nz.. so during winter, we can enjoy a steamboat dinner without having to go to new dynasty (a chinese restaurant in nz that serves yummy ma la huo guo, but has bad service.)
WELL WELL WELL. our wonderful jonathan is back into the study room playing NEOPETS and obviously not attempting to sleep. i shan't blow my top at him anymore. not worth me wasting my breath and time. 'nuff said.

well, yesterday (02/01/2005) had been quite a day.. it had been raining the whole freaking day.. but luckily the rain stopped in the evening.. i went to amk ave 4 to have lunch with ma. had nasi lemak for the first time since i came back. YUMMILICIOUS! hehe. ma had the usual wan ton mee. haha. but the funny thing was.. cos i had a couple of STUPID pimples on my face, i put blemish cream on them, and i forgot to wash it off my face and went to have lunch.. no wonder everyone was staring at my face.. cos some parts of my face were SHINY due to the cream.. so EMBARRASSING!! *BLUSH* but anyhow, we bought carrot cake for jon, and chwee kueh and cheong fun. oh! another embarrassing moment was when i asked the auntie at the chwee kueh store.. i asked, 'auntie, you3 mei2 you3 KUAY CHUP?' then the auntie say 'huh? wo3 men2 bu4 mai4 kuay chup leh!' i was meant to say CHWEE KUEH BUT I SAID KUAY CHUP !!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo!! so paiseh!!!!! ahhh... HORRIBLE.
after that, i was rotting at home (serious ROTTING man.).. rot until 4plus when i called ben i wanted to get out of the house.. too bored.. so i met him at j8. janice called to tell me that they wanted to join ben and i for dinner.. at crystal jade.. so ben and i shopped for just 10min before heading to crystal jade to queue up. they were late!! so ben and i waited for them for 15min in the restaurant. we had this 98bucks set for 6 people which was quite affordable.. haha. ben had a funny moment as well ! cos we had gong1 bao3 ji1 ding1 as one of our dishes, he wanted to try the dried chilli thingy.. and it was filled with those tiny seeds inside, and after chewing for awhile, his face turned bright red!!! haha! he was like 'wah! hot ah hot ah!' haha!! drink water also no use.. and it was like super spicy man! my mum suggested he take in some sugar (yes, sugar.) so he put some on his palm and lick! GROSS!! hahaha! then we told him to put on his spoon and eat.. so funny.. hehe. but i didn't dare to try cos i was afraid it would be worse for me.. i think i'd be crying like mad for water and gulping spoons of sugar.. haha! oh, then janice suggested we play pool before she starts school.. today. since we had red bean soup for dessert, my ma told her that she could only go if she finishes the bowl of soup. janice HATES it alot.. but because she wants to play, she really drank the whole thing down. GOOD ON HER! hehe. we had a wonderful dinner. thanks ma!
jon wanted to come along to play pool with us, but he can't! so while ma and lynn were shopping at the supermarket, we tried escaping BUT TO NO AVAIL. he kept clinging on to me and i was super frustrated. but we managed to escape when we were at the carpark, with jon screaming his head off behind us.. felt soo guilty.. but that was the only way we could have some fun by ourselves. well, i've completely lost my skills in pool. okay, not that my pool skills are actually GOOD, but today i can't play well. i dunno why. janice had a funny logic. she said that if a girl has her menses, she will play well. cos she had some experiences when she got trashed by her girlfriend who was having her menses, and trashed her friend when SHE had her menses. v funny rite.. lol. but we played till 11pm then headed home.

OH YA. on top of everything, BEN IS BACK IN SINGAPORE !!!!!!!!!!!!! it was a surprise 'organized' by him and some my my friends - qi, stephie, mel, meiyi and maybe chungie but she couldn't make it to the airport. oh, and my sis.
BASICALLY, ben told them to BOOK me on the night he's coming back.. coincidentally, we LOVE the char kway teow with sugarcane juice at the staff canteen of T2.. then qi SUGGESTED we have dinner there on the night of December 28. while eating, suddenly i felt someone standing in front of me and when i looked up, i saw BENJAMIN ! he was panting and everything, and i was like 'OMG ! what are you doing here?!'
according to my friends, i was so shocked that i kept saying 'i'm very shocked!' okay, all of them expected me to cry, but there was a point of time when i could feel tears welling up in my eyes lah. not exactly crying but was overjoyed ! HEHE.
so for the past few days i've been bringing him around.. showing him what has changed and everything. he has officially become the SUA-KU guy from moomoo land. haha. just kidding. but he has forgotten quite abit of the locations of some places. actually i think i'm worse, so i shan't say more. LOL. anyway, really happy that he's back.. ! 2 surprises in a month! i love surprises!!!!! pleasant ones only hoh. haha. okay, i'm finished talking.

5. try to name the event of every photo that i possess.. except those zi4 lian4 ones which are impossible to name. haha.
6. meet up with my old pals, even if there's something thats stopping me to do so.
7. grow up.. i'm kinda childish for my age rite? okay, pls don't answer that question.
8. read more books.. only read quite abit early last year..
9. cherish every moment with my friends and family.
10. FIND OUT HOW TO SPACE OUT EVERY SENTENCE FOR MY BLOG ENTRY!! IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY!!!!!

oh, to digress.. i should be stopping this blogging thing for awhile.. cos i don't know the purpose of letting other people know whats going on in my life.. as a friend of mine said 'if you're gonna blog everyday about almost everything and your friends read it, won't there be nothing to talk about then?' HAHA. that may sound ridiculous but it COULD be true in some ways right? maybe this blog will not contain my everyday life, maybe it will be contained with my thoughts..? i duno. haven't exactly decided what to do with this blog.. leave some suggestions leh.. haha.
it's raining quite heavily outside. makes me think of the tidal wave attack. HAI. God bless the tsunami victims. really very touched with many singaporeans who lent a helping hand.. doing volunteer work and donating money and necessities to those affected. ma and ben's mum even suggested we do some volunteer work at the red cross. yeah, i will man. as the chinese saying goes, 'you3 qian2 chu1 qian2, you3 li4 chu1 li4'. since i ain't got much money to donate, i shall help in my own way. HEHE. any of you guys done anything for the tsunami victims? we should help man! okay, shall stop here. boo.

well, today will be the first day that i will be officially slacking at homeeee!!!! haha. am gonna watch fruit basket (anime) as 'sponsored' by tan sock keeeeeee. HEHE. heard from qi and jac that its a really cutie anime.. lol. just spoke to ben on the phone, and he's safely in christchurch ! =D good on him.. the shopping mall in christchurch is the biggest in south island!!! i wanna go christchurch now.... not just TRANSITTING there.. BOO. okay, anime time.

today was quite an eventful day ! in the morning, i, along with pa and jon, went to lower pierce reservoir to fish ! haha.. this is the first fishing trip ever ! both pa and jon have a rod each.. so we can fish.. hehe. BUT unfortunately the fishes were so afriad of us that none of them appeared.. and we didn't fish for anything !!!!!! haha. but nevermind. it was my first time anyway. then jon wanted to go to the playground.. so we played hopscotch! hehe.. i won him !!! i remember when i was in primary school i always play hopscotch.. its like a pri sch thing.. to girls maybe.after one game with jon, i was already perspiring like mad, so we left for home. then no one wants to accompany us for dimsum cos jan has tuition, so 3 of us went to chinatown for yummy dimsum!! hehe! first dimsum session since i came back, and its with pa! woohoo. lol. ate until v full.. then went to some travel agencies around china town.. before going home to wash up and meet ad infinitum(minus thazin) and meiyi and qi!!! P.S I'M REALLY SORRY I WAS SOO LATE TODAY.. PAISEH!!!! made them wait for so long.... wahhhhhhhhh. :(
we went to billy bombers' for dinner today !! hehe. and guess what.. the portion was SOOOOO BEEEEG. none of us could even finish man.. argh. but the food there was ok.. just too much MEAT.. and the potatoes and fries made us even fuller. eew. enough of western cuisine for moi. after that we took neoprints before heading to takashimaya to look for this cute little meowie pouch mel has.. qi wants to buy it but we couldn't find it cos of a caiyun auntie who was supposed to come and see mel's pouch and find it for us.. but she didn't turn up. -_____________- and i was rushing !!!! cos i was supposed to meet ben online at 10pm.. he's going to christchurch tmr morning.. which is sg time 1am.. but until now he's not here!!!!! its 11plus already and i'm still waiting.. but can't blame him.. he has been sleeping at 7 plus 8 am in the morning for me.. so guilty.. hai. shall wait for him till he wakes up and goes to christchurch.. alright.. gotta upload prom photos for meiyi liao.. byeeee.

back from bangkok !!! i really gotta go back to bangkok again !! i haven't finished my shopping okay.. but i had a really good time at bangkok.. besides the flight to bangkok and the long bus rides. overall: ichiban ! hehe.
on the last day, we woke up too early !! because of me.. haha. i set my alarm clock according to singapore time.. and bangkok is slower by an hour.. lol. had breakfast before heading to Pratunam Market by taxi. the jam was horrendous man.. it wasn't even peak hour.. and motorists with masks on sped past the taxi we were in. it took us more than an hour to reach our destination when we could reach there by sky train within 15minutes.
we managed to buy some tops, skirts, jeans, bikinis at a low price.. hehe. thanks to our trained bargain skills. lol ! we only shopped for 3 hours before we had to head back to the hotel to pack and head for the airport. guess what? our flight was delayed ! but on our flight, we met this cute little thai boy who studies in singapore ! he's only 4 years old but he's really chatty.. haha.. so time past really quickly in the plane.. so it was alrite.. :)
i'm sick... so i didn't go for chungie's concert cos i had to recuperate.. sniff sniff* hope i''ll get well soon.. so while at home, i was planning the family christmas bbq party at ah ma's place on saturday.. hopefully it will turn out well.. :) hehe. okay.. go liao. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

today was not really a shopping day for us in Bangkok.. well, we woke up at 6am today ok!! cause we were going to the famous floating market!! hehe.. well it was a LONG ride there.. 2 hours by mini-bus.. me and ning only bought a photo album each.. cos most of the stuff sold there were sounvenirs and not very gd price.. so.. YEAH.. just a hand made photo album. then we took another 2 hours travelling to the ROSE GARDEN.. duno what place is that.. but when we reached our destination the car park was full and everything, so ma said we go to the corocdile and elephant farm.. that was ANOTHER 2 hours.. sian man! whole day in the mini bus made me wanna puke.. had major headache ok.. we saw soooo many different kinds of crocodiles man.. albino ones.. tailess ones.. short snouted.. and there was one with its top snout slanting to the right!! grossed out.. haha.. and the croc farm is seriously a FARM man.. cos i couldn't count how many crocs there were.. and its really scary.. so many of them..
the croc show was equally scarY!! the 2 croc trainers were SO daring.. i was sure everyone at the audience was scared and excited at the same time.. and money was thrown to them during the show.. and their acts were far more daring than the ones done in singapore.. they didn't tell the audience not to use flash.. they had their heads in the croc's mouth for more than 20 seconds.. there were more than 8 crocs at the stage.. the crocs are much bigger.. blahblah..
after the croc show we went walking around the place when we saw a monkey show.. now this one is different.. we saw one of the monkeys dressed up as a female and had make up on its face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN ADDITION, ITS EARS WERE PIERCED AND EARRINGS WERE HANGING FROM THEM! how can they do this to monkeys?!!!! then it was screeching and wasn't in a good mood.. then this lady with a CANE brought it to the back stage and we could only hear the poor little monkey screeching even louder than before..! i mean, what's this man?!! animal cruelty?! i'm APPALLED man. so angry with them that we left. hmph!
after that we saw the tiger that we had seen previously.. for an hour it was just on the floor.. lying down restlessly.. ning was thinking how could it lay on the floor for so long?! confirm it has been injected with some drugs loh.. wah lau eh.. i cannot tahan these ppl loh.. its seriously animal cruelty... in addition to that, we saw a baby elephant fed with ROTTEN BANANAS... poor thing!!!!!!! houseflies were circling on top of those bananas.. argh. gross.
we left the place for the hotel before heading to this super duper gigantic seafood restaurant!! its logo is 'if it swims, we have it.' haha! cool rite?! and its a market restaurant.. which means u have to push ur shopping cart and select the seafood you wanna eat! just like in a market! then get ingredients u want in ur dish then tell the person how u want ur dishes to be served.. the price is QUITE reasonable.. but the food is yummy! the service is GREAT (3++ waiters serving just us one table when there were many many tables filled). food came v fast too cos there were like 40 chefs in the kitchen maN!! haha... well the restaurant has such a large group of staff and its super duper big.. woooooo~ really really good business somemore.. tour buses coming and going.. tsktsk.. RICH MAN. haha..
well, didn't buy MUCH today cos we're GOING SHOPPING TMR !!!!!!!! yayyyyyy. ma's gonna work.. the croc show was equally scarY!! the 2 croc trainers were SO daring.. i was sure everyone at the audience was scared and excited at the same time.. and money was thrown to them during the show.. and their acts were far more daring than the ones done in singapore.. they didn't tell the audience not to use flash.. they had their heads in the croc's mouth for more than 20 seconds.. there were more than 8 crocs at the stage.. the crocs are much bigger.. blahblah..
after the croc show we went walking around the place when we saw a monkey show.. now this one is different.. we saw one of the monkeys dressed up as a female and had make up on its face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN ADDITION, ITS EARS WERE PIERCED AND EARRINGS WERE HANGING FROM THEM! how can they do this to monkeys?!!!! then it was screeching and wasn't in a good mood.. then this lady with a CANE brought it to the back stage and we could only hear the poor little monkey screeching even louder than before..! i mean, what's this man?!! animal cruelty?! i'm APPALLED man. so angry with them that we left. hmph!
after that we saw the tiger that we had seen previously.. for an hour it was just on the floor.. lying down restlessly.. ning was thinking how could it lay on the floor for so long?! confirm it has been injected with some drugs loh.. wah lau eh.. i cannot tahan these ppl loh.. its seriously animal cruelty... in addition to that, we saw a baby elephant fed with ROTTEN BANANAS... poor thing!!!!!!! houseflies were circling on top of those bananas.. argh. gross.

i'm in BANGKOK !!!! with my mum, jan, jon and my cousin ning !! hehe. well, firstly i wanna state that BANGKOK is seriously air polluted.. i mean, from the airport i can already smell smoke from the outside.. and the sky is HAZY.. omg man.. some of the people working at the toll gates were even wearing masks ok... really can die of air pollution.. but this place is cool.. ESPECIALLY OUR HOTEL ROOM. when i upload my photos u shall see how GORGEOUS this hotel room is.. its WOOHOOOOOOooooooooooo.. me jan and ning are enjoying ourselves IN THE HOTEL ROOM... really amazing.. and the rates are not very high according to my mum. hopefully i'll have a wonderful time here.. hehe.

read steph's blog just now brought a smile to my face.. okay im not insane.. but its all the memories back in chung cheng.. especially during sec 2.. stephie mentioned some of the hilarious one espcially roger saying 'you don't think you got background i scared ah..' LOL. well anyway, i'm trying to remember some of the other funny incidents that happened that year..
you liang said TMD in front of the class ! cos roger cheated in some ting1 xie3. HAHA.
miss lee(our chinese teacher) is an ah lian man.. give attitude sia.. dun wanna teach us.. only those who wanna learn go in front of the class while the rest can do their own stuff.. i think only a handful went up.. haha.
oh, the choo-choo train formation with roller chairs during computer lessons.. LOL. most of the ppl were trailing behind one another holding the other person's chair in front and made a LONG trailer.. lol.. and CIRCLED around the computer lab.. even went behind the teacher loh! haha! the teacher wanna high blood pressure already man.. super duper funny.
actually most of the funny stuff were mentioned by mel n steph already.. oh well, TO SUMMARISE, the year 2000 was good. had fun. haha. if only we can turn back time and experience such joy again.. there's no harm to it anyway. but i'm still glad that Ad Infinitum is still together, even though we started from 7 people. OH, long story.. but i wanna go back to chung cheng! anyone interested? haha.
hoho, guys who just graduated from JCs are going for NS!! good luck for those who are going in. all the best man, and hopefully i'll be able to catch u guys real soon.. must listen to your.. erm.. commando? or whatever.. i know nuts about NS stuff.. ya.. just obey the rules or you'll have to scrub the toilet floor with a toothbrush (as seen on TV). for those who are attached, don't worry lah.. i'm sure your gf loves you from the bottom of their hearts.. yup yup.
gonna watch blade trinity today with Ad Infinitum (minus Thazin who's in Myanmar) along with QIIIIIIIIIIII and maybe meiyi? super jealous with meiyi now cos she can go to NZ tomorroW!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanna go back too.. sobx. hopefully she'll enjoy her trip as much as i would enjoy my BANGKOK TRIP THIS COMING FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYY. weeee~ hahaha. trying real hard not to shop now.. cos i'm going on a shopping spree in bangkok.. with all the information that Ning and I have gotten, should NOT be a problem looking for cheap and nice stuff there.. oh gosh.. haven't been blogging for so long ! kinda busy these few days.. cos my cousin's wedding was on sunday ! so happy for her.. we stayed over at her place on saturday night.. and me, jan, ning and wei got to be ah-yis.. haha ! not literally, but we were supposed to stop the groom from coming into the house, and set up obstables for the groom and his brothers.. haha. we had them eating brinjal with belachan chilli, dancing the limbo rock on high heels, and the groom had to shout out 10 reasons why he loves my cousin. so sweet (: my cousin looked absolutely gorgeous that day, and also not leaving out everyone else ! haha.. guess what? i put in much more effort to dress up as compared to my own prom.. but it was worth it ! hehe. i re-dyed my hair, manicure and pedicure, shaped my brows, bought shoes, 2 gowns.. haha.
more birthdays coming up as well ! hehe.. there's stephanie, thazin, rice.. blah.. many many more.. that means more money spent ! nvm la.. its the holidays anyway. steph: could u elaborate more on the singtel lobang? haha. really need extra cash here..
oh ! i'm going to bangkok this coming friday.. so i'll be MIA for a couple of days.. will be going there with jan, jon and ning !! it'll be a SHOPPING SPREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. weEEE~~ haha.! we will be joining ma there who would have finished some business stuff.. oh, to digress: why is everyone going to hk?!!! so jealous.. i can't go back this year.. *WAILS* i should be staying in singapore for the new year (both new years) but its okay with me anyway..

my room looks sooooo extremely messy ! all the boxes.. guess what? i've got 4 boxes filled and 4 luggages filled, and i'm not finished with my packing yet ! all my books are not included either.. all in ben's house already.. SIGH ! now regretting why i bought and brought so much stuff.. hate packing and moving bleaHx.
went church this morning.. couldn't stay awake during sermon.. shut my eyes for approximately.. 1 min? haha.. after that went to tokyo garden to mummum.. had serious tummy ache.. either gastric or something.. after eating also painful.. ): but after going to the toilet it was fine.. heh.. no extra details added..
these few days, the weather hasn't been really good.. it was WAY windy yesterday.. almost got blown off my feet while walking home.. *shivers* hehe. but we managed to reach home safe and sound. i'll be on the same flight as jamie and gary.. so hopefully i won't be bored on air new zealand.. will be transitting at auckland before flying back to singapore.. ahhh.. 10hours to singapore.. BOOOO. anyway, i gotta shift my stuff to my flat tomorrow.! ahhhh. stress ah... all the guys r STILL in my room playing.. hai. duno how to pack at this rate.. mama sure scold one.. =\ aight. better stop now.. byex! cya everyone soon!

I AM OFFICIALLY A FREE BIRDIE BIRD BIRD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, at least for this year though.. HAHA. i ended the draggy 3 weeks of exams just yesterday.. and the last paper was intro. to physics.. which totally sucked (ONCE AGAIN.......) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. the samples totally different from the actual paper.. i dunno whats wrong with those ppl who wrote the exam.. no fair.. *whines* but hey ! exams gone !!!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. exams down. singapore here i come ! lol.. i remember when i was still in singapore i find myself complaining that there's NOTHING TO DO in singapore.. now i wanna do everything again.. even going to sentosaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. HAHA.
anyway, my class was the extra one yesterday lah.. i think all the other health science classes had their class dinner at asian yesterday, while we had ours before the exams.. haha but nvm lah.. we had this 'DRINKING PARTY' later that night.. but i DIDN'T drink.. only the guys did.. cos i don't wanna make a fool of myself again.. like on aug 13th.. sucks. haa. :X then they were playing computer n then some of them like drunk drunk then cannot shoot the opponent properly.. damn funny.. lol.. i slept at like 4 la ! so sleeeeeeepy now.. got woken up by han.. but heck.. be glad that it happened jess. jajajaja.. mierda mierda !! ole ole ole! lol.. some funny language i learnt from some players in GB.. im playing GB again lah.. should be jonathan's dream, but he doesn't play anymore !!!!!! ban4 tu2 er2 fei4 !!!!! haha. but if u guys got account just add me the nooby k? haha.. userid is jesslove and the even noobier one: cookies4mi. LOL. im MAD. lalalala.
foundation year will officially finish all exams today. im sure all arts and commerce ppl are cheering now cos their nz studies paper should be finish already! hohoho.. gonna have our graduation party later this evening.. duno what to wear.. HEADACHE AH.. hahaha! then after that gonna have a party .. a real one.. hah. oh ya! i watched a walk to remember loh.. then all those guys SLEPT la!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its not that boring lohhhhhhh. me and chwee ling thought it was nice lahhhhhh.. nv give face sia.. sleep until snoring somemore.. buay tahan man these guys.. HAHA. my whole room smell of alcohol.. even until now...... i think they all slept at 7 plus 8... haha.. typical of them lahx !

bio hadn't been a really good paper for me.. sigh. i thought i actually managed to cover everything that i needed to know.. yet when i was doing the paper, i realised that i had so much that i didn't know.. and if i were to be a doctor, how can i cure people and allow them to put their lives in my hands..? then i wouldn't want to be a doctor anymore.. my bio sucked.. AHHH.
english was alright.. given about 1.5 hours to finish an essay and reading, and managed to finish before the given time. overall it was okay.. it was my long essay that disappointed me.. i'm sorry steph.. but my long essay only got an A-.. i know this sounds absurd but i cried for a whole hour, and poor ben had to console me.. once again, ben beat me and got an A+ when he only did it in 3 days ! sometimes life can be so unfair.. i did mine a whole month before the submission date.. unfair unfair unfair.... but yea, the essay wasn't perfect.. i wasn't relevant in one of my paragraphs..

AHHHHHHHHH. damn. but while checking my paper i managed to find some mistakes and realise that i could do some of the questions that i thought i wouldn't know how to do. praise the lord ! lately i've been so unholy.. only remembered god only when i'm in trouble.. not something a good christian should be doing.. sigh.

HENG AH. LOL.

once again, i'm procrastinating ! this is not going very well, eh? i'm supposed to be locking myself out of anything and everything at this point of time, because my bio paper is in 2 days time ! it must be ben lah.. influence me to slack until like that.. but i cannot slack like him cos' i'm not as smart..!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh.
anyway, we had our class dinner yesterday ! though it didn't turn out as good as the previous class dinner, it was alright.. cos we had heaps of fun ! haha.. we had our dinner at the asian restaurant, and it was PACKED ! soooooooo many people were there, and it was sooo stuffy man.. every table was taken, lucky halim booked 2 tables, or else we can just squat outside the restaurant and eat lah.. haha. let's see who came: me, ben, halim, halim's friend(forgot his name =X), lei, umeira, james, eric, vicki, chong, victor, bev, helen, mr and mrs snowden. there.! so glad most of the teachers could make it.. hehe. and i didn't know helen was a vegetarian !! she's been one for 12 whole years ok! i remember i tried being a vegetarian for a week.. but not even 3 days i gave up!! HAHA. lousy man..
we had a 10 course meal !! weeeeeee~ yummy yummy yummy.. hehe. bev's realllll funny man.. lurv her !! too bad we didn't sit at the same table as the snowdens.. mrs snowden thanked lei, me, ben and halim for helping at the new migrant open day programme that morning.. HAHA.. we had to translate from english to chinese okay.. and my chinese really cmi.. so paiseh ok.. what kidna translator is that lahx.. haha.. ben was the funnniest.. i told him to tell those migrants to follow the instructions on the board to open a media file in chinese, then he was like,'hey hey hey !!' then everyone was looking at him. then he remained silent.. cos' he doesn't know how to say 'instructions' in chinese ! loL!! then after that they don't care him and continued muddling with the desktops. HAHA. but despite the horrible translation session, we still had our free BBQ !!! heheh.. too bad most of them were from china.. none from korea and japan.. so grace and her friend(i forgot her name AGAIN..) and those japanese who were called to translate had no business to do. hah.
back to the dinner.. since halim was the class chairman, he started a 'speech' before we started our dinner, and after he spoke finish we clapped our hands =, and within 3 seconds the WHOLE restaurant was clapping and cheering for our table laH! so fun!! hehe. then after the dinner he made yet another 'speech' and we were cheered again. super enthusiastic man these kiwis.. hehe.. but it was great fun. :) after the dinner we went to hoyts to check out movies, and decided to watch The Forgotten. man.. it sucked lah.. HAHA. i mean, the story concept was very good? but the storyline really cmi.. sigh ! $8.50 wasted for all 11 of us. but anyway, hs b rockx ! the 'sociable class' known by all the teachers in Foundation Year, to put it in a good way. haha. noisy buncha people man. haha. yeh !
oh, i visited santa sabina hostel.. the hostel which i was supposed to be staying at right now.. but ma changed it for me cos she said it was too far. lei brought me and ben to santa sabina after the bbq, and it was indeed far.. but it was like.. veyr private kinda thing? and its like the whole place belonged to them? so they can play hide and seek around that area.. so fun ! and lei's room is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY bigger than mine.. sobx!! mine's like.. vvv small lahx. shan't say more. haha.

HEEEEEELP. i'm utterly bored.. how can i be in the hostel on a saturday afternoon.. this is unbelievable.. my exams are not even here yet, and those uni students are ending theirs by next week.. UNFAIR AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. sobx*
these few days, practically every day seems to be somewhat the same..? sleep at most 8 hours.. wake up.. eat.. school.. come home.. study.. sleep.. wake up.. eat.. school.. AHHHHh. this is horrible.. the old tv-addict me is long gone. you dont find me in the TV room anymore.. cos' of the exams !!!! the sciences are the ones that i'm worried about.. sigh.! i guess im not really science-inclined ?
haha, i just read my cuz zhining's blog.. and they were talking about matchmaking tuck (her bro) with another girl.. i remember he's the poor thing in my ah ma's house.. always kena beating from my ah ma cos' i simply told her that tuck beat me when it wasn't true.. now i'm feeling so evil. nonono. bad girl. he's always staying at home reading books while my ah ma brings us to orchard road for shopping.. the quiet and 'dumb-looking' one is actually the genius in the family ! he has shocked everyone since primary school.. getting into EM1 stream.. PSLE aggregate score of more than 260.. getting into triple science stream in sec 3.. unbeatable gce o level results.. getting into the best jc in singapore.. and finally.. the wonderous results for gce a levels.. WAHHHHHH. *jealous* unbeatable huh? if only i had studied harder in jc.. i wouldn't have been here.. moooooooomoooooooooooooooooooooooooo land.. HAHA. no la.. i don't regret my choice of coming here to further studies.. cos' if i weren't here, i wouldnt have met ben. MWAH*! HAHA. lamex.
hmmx.. looking at my calendar and counting how many more days to..... exams.. -_-"" 10 more days. sigh ! first paper.. biology. really very stressful loh. sigh. better start studying soon after this.. okie.. mugging time. work hard ppl ! (:

guess what guys ? i got a funny tan ! *wail* my forehead's white and my face is brown.. how to face the world!?!?! lol.. but who cares? i survived 2 weeks of laughing and teasing.. haha.. that shows how BRAVE i am! but its so horrible.. and the reason why i've got such an abnormal tan is because i was wearing a beanie while snow boarding!! the weather was definitely HOT HOT HOT ! poor me had a sunburn on my cheeks, and they were rosy for almost 2 weeks.. sigh!

after such a long period of disappearance, i'm finally back ! lol. how are you guys ? so sorry i haven't been blogging much these days.. actually i haven't goone online quite alot these days.. just checking mail and chatting a lil'..
update:
1. i'm going on a ski trip this coming fri (240904). ya i know.. again. but it will be so fun !! i'll be snow boarding this time cos' i've tried skiing the other time when ma jan and jon came.
2. if ski trip is here, it means that my one week recess is here too !!
3. about 10 more weeks before i go back home (singapore !!)
4. before going back home, i have my final exams. sigh !! i really hope i'll do well.
that's basically what will be happening this week la. hah. i think. i must really study hard this holidays. after coming back from the ski trip i'm gonna study study study !! i can't wait to feel the warmth of the sun touching my skin, i.e from singapore, but also the warmth in my heart, being able to see all my friends and family members. i doubt many people can actually feel how i'm feeling now - homesick. back in singapore, many people won't want to go home, they just want to have fun outside. but over here, the urge to go back home is so strong that sometimes we cry. sobs! that includes me la.
why are fondation year exams so late...? the uni exams are like a month earlier than ours. this sucks ! but hey, the only thing in my mind now is the ski trip !!! really in holiday mood now.. wee !

im still in holiday mood !! we had a week of holiday last week, plus mon and tue this week cos' it SNOWED ! waking up early is not the problem.. just wanna play haha.
my seminar presentation finally ended !! woohoo ! but i didn't think i did really well. sigh. there goes my A grade. argh.. was the 2nd to present after ben. maybe i chose the wrong topic to talk about? but albinism IS interesting.. maybe its too scientific thats why some people couldnt keep up with the presentation. I'M SO SAD MAN !
i have to go shopping today !! no matter what man ! but it's HAILING. noo.... (for ur info: hailing is like raining.. just that its not rain.. its ice) we don't get hail in sg tho'. weather forecast predicted snow yesterday and today. please dont snow today.. dont ruin my beautiful day.. but looking at the sky.. i dont think the hail will stop anytime soon. sob.
well, i feel v accomplished now ! haha. cos i managed to reply ALL my emails and letters to my friends who emailed and sent letters to me. its a big accomplishment man ! hahaha. so bored. i think i better study first. i wanna be a nerd ! ;) NO. i just remembered i have to wash my clothes. CRRRRAP.

it really snowed today !! first time in dunedin this year !! snow actually came all the way down here.. so happy !! i was in the gym when it started to snow !! when we returned to the hostel, we stayed outside and played with the snow.. and it continued to snow until there was so much snow !! almost half the hostel ppl were out playing with snow. we were not the only ones who were that excited, as down the street we could see others playing with the snow too. i got whacked by so many ppl man ! was real fun, but stopped after awhile cos' i was getting cold, plus i'm already having a cold. anyway, we could play on the roads and paveways cos it was already very late at night (11pm?) and there were few cars on the deserted road adjacent to our hostel.
today everyone's so happy too. now the guys of the gang are drinking vodka with coke. man, the amount of vodka they put is WOOHOO. one of them is already talking gibberish, one is tipsy, the other two still alright. R-E-S-T-E-C-P. i only had a few glasses before i went tipsy on friday night. ahhhh !! have promised myself not to drink in public anymore. its not only an embarrassment, but it can be very dangerous too. mmhmm. -ponders-
i think the post-ball atmosphere is still lingering around the hostel, and i'm so glad that all of us are so close to one another-playing and having so much fun together. (: anyway, despite the FREEZING cold weather, i had two long baths man ! one before gym and one after. ran so much today.. maybe 7km? yep. cos i ate way too much today. too much rice and fries and oily food. felt ever so guilty till i had to push myself to the limit.
well, better go check on the guys. hopefully they don't get hangover !! ahhhhh !! peace out. ^^v

yay !! holidays are here !! -boogies-
last night was foundation year's ball, and it was absolutely terrific !! coincidentally, it was friday the 13th !! here's what happened during the day.
750am: did not wake up early enough to study for chemistry exit test, and was rushing through it like crazy !!
830am: time to go for chem lab !! after a mere split second after closing the door behind me, i realised i left my key in my room !! fish. the matron was in school already, so i had no choice but to just go to school.
900am: in chem lab. chem teacher caught me using my cell phone and asked me to do it outside. i was just topping up my prepay account balance man.
1200pm: guess what? NO EXIT TEST !! hooray !! haha. first good thing that happened that day. went to union to have my lunch before going for math lect, then eng lect.
245pm: time to go for hair updo for prom, but door of my room still locked. went to look for the matron and got the master key from him. ben went back to hostel to retrieve my key, while i rushed to farmer's to get this real good strapless bra. -lol-
335pm: running like mad to the salon !! ahhh!!!!
4++pm: went with ben to his house to get his suit. had my early nibbles too (sandwich !)
710pm: hair and make up ready. assembled downstairs to meet all the beautiful ladies and suave men.

havent blogged for so long !! well, been kinda busy with.. TELEVISION Television television. someone help me stop the addiction, please ! there are too many nice shows on television every night. i can't seem to concentrate on my work, and this is NOT good. tell me what should i do ?
national day's coming !! the singapore club here in dunedin has organised a potluck session for us this saturday. really hope many will turn up and it will be a success man ! weeee~
update: 1 more week to national day, 2 more weeks to foundation year ball and HOLIDAYS !!! can't wait ! (: but, hold on a second. that means 3 weeks to seminar presentation !!!!!!!!!!! Haha. Haven't been blogging since school started ! It's been way hectic man.. When are the holidays coming again ?! Haha. Just chilling out.. Waiting for my turn to bathe.. Haha. I just found out that most of the girls in my hostel take their baths around 8pm. As for me, I normally bathe very late in the night, like 12am ? Haha. But I decided to change this weird habit of mine. It's FREEZING cold in the night ! But hey, I don't have to wait for a vacant bathroom at that time. ;)
Ooooh !! Blogger's upgraded again. Hiak hiak. Can play with colours now. Haha. I'm so bored!! Someone save me ! I don't want to study anymore ! JUST 1 MORE DAY TO MY BIRTHDAY ! 1 MORE DAY UNTIL I TURN 18 ! 1 MORE DAY TO JULY 8TH ! 1 MORE DAY ! :DDD
Wee ! Last night, he told me that he lost his wallet man..! So freaking scary la.. Cos' he's got everything in that wallet.. His student i.d, driver's license, EFTPOS card and cash. Didn't have a good sleep cos' I was worrying for him la.. What if he can't find it man.. But in the end he still found it la.. He checked the wrong jeans, the jeans he wore the day BEFORE yesterday.. Lol.
Ruth's in Dunedin ! I guess it's her holidays now too, and she's here to visit her friends, including me. Haha. Very happy to be able to meet someone I knew before. Was supposed to meet her today, but I could only make it later, and she needed to go sightseeing, so I'm meeting her at Mac's tomorrow for lunch ! Can't wait. So, in the end, I went with him to collect the photos I developed from my digital camera for Qi and Steph, Shuo and Joan, and for Mama they all, and also for myself la. Haha. Then we slacked at Starbucks for a few hours before heading home. Slack day eh?

I've decided to go on a diet ! Or should I say I'm trying to lose weight ! I'm super dupery heavy already la.. And don't ask me how heavy I weigh. It's just.. UNIMAGINABLE. Save me.. Oh oh oh!! Foundation Year's ball is on August 13 ! Hope I can take loads of photos ! Hee* The photo queen is BACK IN ACTION! Actually I've always been in action la.. Nothing to do also just take my phone or digital camera to take photo of myself. So lame man. But what else can I do right..

2 days to my birthday ! ! ! ! !
LOL. I slept for 12hours yesterday(It's Tuesday already)! I think that's the most amount of sleep I've had since God-knows-when. But I'm sleepy already. Hee. Typical me. Just slacked and watched Hai Tun Wan Lian Ren Part 2 today. 4 episodes down! Left with.. (calculations... Crap. Long time no use brain already.) Er. I dunno. Haha.
It was supposed to be a boring day, but it wasn't cos' he was here. Hiak hiakx! Life's never boring with him around. I think I'm gonna dye my hair tomorrow. Still pondering on what colour I should dye. How?

Should I go or not........ HELP.
Been blogging since the starting of this month, and I feel great! Still thinking of my abandoned blog a few months ago. Lol. And everyone's complaining why haven't I updated my blog for so long. Well, might as well redo everything since it's the holidays!
Sometimes guys can be so hurtful. They don't register what they are going to say in their head, and just say it out, not worried whether or not that guy or girl will be hurt or not. Maybe that's why some people say guys are not as sensitive as girls. *Shrugs* I don't know.
It's such a coincidence such that I was talking about hypocricy, and I personally witnessed someone talking bad about someone else behind his back. Sigh. I just rolled my eyes and didn't bother about what he was saying man. It's.. too unacceptable for me. However, there is a handful of guys out there who are too sensitive. A little thing can make him cry or get angry about. Maybe all of us should learn to be sensitive, but not too much. :)
Maybe I've come to a conclusion that I don't like hypocrites, back-stabbers, racists, and maybe some other types of people.

Just counted how many muesli bars I had today. 5 in total. Woohoo. Is that a record or what..? Didn't have dinner cos' its KFC today. OILY CRAP. so I had an apple and 2 muesli bars. Should get hungry any time soon. It's just a matter of time. Haha.
Went to the gym before dinner. Ran for half an hour, did the pulling thingy like rowing a boat(sorry but I don't know e name of tt machine! LOL) for 1km, watched Ben, Caleb and Zhou play badminton for awhile until I got freaking cold cos' I was just standing there watching. Did cycling for approximately 35min. BLEAH.. Don't feel tired at all, and that's stupid.
Sometimes I wonder why humans are born selfish. It's not fair. I hate it when I have to tolerate some selfish acts of SOME people whom I shan't mention. Hypocrites are another type of people that I hate. Get alive man. Its not as if they have to compete to get famous in school. Can't they just be themselves and don't pretend to be someone they aren't? Wanna whack them also cannot.. Or else kena whack back also.. Lol. Oh well. To hell with it.
My birthday's coming.. And I'm still wondering whether I'll actually enjoy my birthday this year. Dead place. 'Dead' people. So how am I gonna express my joy man..? I wanna go back to Singapore.. Where all my true and faithful friends and family are.
Sigh. Just let me dream on.

FWAHhhhhhhhhhh... Haven't blogged for such a long time... Been busy with everything..! Tests are coming up, exams are coming up.. Stress is building up.. Blah blah blah..!! Lucky it isn't as stressful as in Singapore..
Hmm.. What happened since the last time I blogged... OH. My eyes degree went up 100deg and 50deg man.. That's madness..! I didn't know how it went up so high, but I had to pay 38 freaking bucks to check my eyesight.. Oh well..
Mum asked whether I wanna go back to Singapore during my break in June. I told her I wanted to spend my time here in NZ, and celebrate my birthday here.. (BIG HINT: MY BIRTHDAY IS ON 8th JULY!!!! hiakhiakx! ;) ) Can't wait for Mum and Janice and Jonathan to come here to visit me..! Miss them so very much... Must make them feel AT HOME man.. Haha.. I have so many things I need from Singapore, and hopefully they will get all of them and bring them to me.. Muahaha... The prices of the goods here are damn high can.. Want to buy also heart pain.. Plus the stuff here are either too expensive, or limited pattern and stuff.. *shrugs*
Oh ya, heard about the Nichol Highway incident in Singapore.. What's the latest news about that man? See la.. I'm not in Singapore then this kind of thing happen.. Haha.. Nah just joking.. But I didn't expect something like that to happen in Singapore.

I finally got over my summary presentation YESTERDAyyy!!!!! I feel so relaxed now! My friends told me they saw an A+ on the teacher's paper for me.. But I don't know whether to believe not.. Cos' there were like 3 times when I paused, trying to remember what I memorised.. But there was one MAJOR one when I stopped for almost 10seconds!? Like WTH man! Cos' I didn't put the main points onto my cue card, since I thought I could memorise them very clearly already.. But I also forgot that I flashed the main points on the OHP.. LOL. Then my friends were all mouthing 'BEHIND YOU, BEHIND YOU', meaning the main points were right behind me! SO embarrassing man.. Okay, I admit I was kind of nervous.. But I'm so glad its all over! Now the things to worry are: ENG REPORT, ALL THE TESTS NEXT WEEK, TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THE CLASS WORK, SEMESTER EXAM, and.. some other stuff. Damn it.
Saw Edmund's blog last week..? Haha.. Its unique, Edmund! Serious! Go check it out k people? Meaningful stuff inside, especially for Christians. I'm so excited about my Stewart Island trip! The day's getting closer.. *BEAMS* Haha.. I know tramping is tough, but it'll be such an enriching experience man! Imagine tramping in such cold weather.. Gosh. When my trip is coming, that means that Easter holidays are here too! We don't get one week of Easter holiday in Singapore, do we? One whole week of break man! Lol.
Don't know why but I've been so careless in tests and my assignments.. Not sure why.. Very disappointed with my restuls recently.. Keep getting either 16/20 or 6/10.. Hate the number 6!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to anyone whose favourite number is 6.. But I've got 5 test marks which contain the number 6 in it and i HATE it!!! I feel so stupid man.. It's like just managed to pass a test.. That kinda feeling really.. S U C K. Super stressed..
Heard that Ma they all coming on the 3rd and 4th week of June holidays!! Woohoo....! ;) Ain't that great.. I'm sure JONATHAN misses me loads.. And Janice too.. I think.. Haha! =X
Been burning the midnight oil for 2 whole weeks already.. I look like a genuine panda now.. WIth my dark circles..SIGH! Nono.. Cannot sigh. Just gotta work hard la.. It's so NOT easy to get into Med la.. Out of a thousand over students, only a hundred plus can get in.. How pathetic is that.. Plus all the people I know are all so hardworking + smart + everything-in-a-package-to-be-a-nerd. I'm SO not like them can.. But heck la.. Just study hard and do my best.. I think my final G.P.A will be super dupery lousy.
I'm getting fatter everyday la.. The weather's so cold because its autumn for a month already.. The result is: EAT MORE. And I really mean MORE okay.. Back in Singapore I really don't actually EAT..? Over here I eat like a dinosaur man.. You never see how much I eat here.. One meal here is like 3 days of meal back in Singapore.. Now you know how chubby and fat and flaby I'm gonna get. Haha. Wanna go to Unipol(gym) to work out also lazy.. Cos' gotta walk in the night.. Far and cold.. What to do? Haha. But nevertheless, I went to Unipol with Ben, Chwee Ling, Halim, Caleb, Jason and James last Thursday after the whole string of tests man. Played badminton with Ben, Chwee Ling and Jason. Paired up with Ben. Man.. Ben's badminton is like chao pro la.. But then didn't really see his good moves cos' he didn't really play that day.. And that's because I was hitting all the shuttlecocks la.. Haha! Since I was standing in front you know.. Ahem* Lol. Then played basketball with the rest and saw Michael.. His basketball is also chao pro la..! Haha. Played with all the other guys till about 10+ in the night I think, before we headed back to El Nido(hostel).
Two of my hostel mates have just moved out cos' they are going to Auckland to study.. Is it really THAT boring here..? Lol. I also dunno how I can tahan without shopping for 2 weeks. Hopefully Joan and Shuo sends the parcel soon.. I'm getting sick of all the clothings I'm wearing.. It's how cold today la.. Plus the stupid rain.. Oh, about the rain here.. It's different from Singapore. In Singapore, we get large drops of rain.. But here we get tiny drops of rain, but LOTS of them.. So we get VERY VERY wet when we're drenched. And I really mean VERY. Plus the cold weather and stuff.. It's tough trying to adapt to the weather here..
Now waiting for Ben to come back so we can have lunch together.. In the computer lab now with so many other people checking their mails and stuff too. I'm craving for black sauce chicken BECAUSE of CHAN JUNWEI who tempted me just last night with his mother's cooking. Dammit. Okay, gonna check my mail now. Lalala.

AHEM.. I'm finally updating my blog again!! Haha.. Cos' some people have complained that I haven't been updating my blog, but just replying at my flooble chatterbox.. Haha! Okay, now about me. I'M SICK!! I've been sick for.. 4 days!! The flu virus is spreading here and there in Dunedin la.. Sigh* Hate getting sick.. Keep coughing and coughing.. Machiam have TB like that.. *CHOY!* Haha! Anyway, I've got 3 tests (Biology, Physics and MathC) this week!! IRRITATING! =/ Just had my Biology test a few hours ago, and it sucked totally. *frowns* Oh well. It's over. But hey, look on the bright side man! My 1st Biology test.. At least its not THAT difficult. Still gotta work hard la!

I'm studying REALLY hard here.. Studying till almost 12 everyday.. I'm gonna be a NERD!!! Or I was always one.. Haha..! Hope to get into Med next year! That's my aim man! I haven't got my internet yet, so you guys won't see me much on MSN or whatever. But when I get my internet access, you guys will be the first to know! Hi everyone, or anyone reading this! Haha. Yup, I'm now in Dunedin, New Zealand now.. In my school computer lab trying to blog as quickly as possible because I have a lesson at 2p.m.. Everything's fine here.. All settled by my mama while she was here, but she's left me..PHYSICALLY on Sunday. *SAD* !!! Now I'm an independent young lady trying to survive la.. Haha. Well, its autumn now.. Since yesterday (1st March). Kinda chilly down here.. Can't wear those mini skirts.. Or spagetti tops.. Or shorts.. All out of the way man.. now like DUMPLING like that.. Haha, no la.. Exaggerating.. I've made many new friends here.. People from Korea, China, India, Russia, Malaysia, Japan blahblahblah.. Kinda stressful now cos' all the students here are also DAMN kiasu man.. Not I wanna say la but I think they're even more kiasu than Singaporeans.. Haha... I'll try and blog as frequently as I can..
